The Cody Cupboard is a nonprofit food bank that provides temporary food assistance to those in need. The cupboard serves as a supplemental resource for people who are having financial difficulty or the burden of unexpected expenses. The cupboard operates on a referral system in conjunction with the Department of Family Services, Yellowstone Behavioral Health, Hope House, Crisis Intervention Services, Park County Public Health, local churches, police, etc. Generally, individuals or families contact us through the referring agency, however, it is the cupboard’s policy to provide food to everyone who requests food, regardless of referral. Donors may contact the cupboard by phone, and the cupboard is funded mainly through local donations, though grants provide occasional assistance.
